How do I delete my account and my data?
Deleting is a two-part request: cancel your subscription, then ask for data deletion in the same email to support@creditrefresh.ai. Cancelling alone stops billing and ends bureau access but keeps your dispute records under our Privacy Policy. A deletion request removes your stored data, though some records may be retained where federal law requires it. A human processes every request.
Cancelling vs. deleting
Cancelling your subscription stops future billing, ends new bureau pulls, and closes the platform's ongoing access to your credit data. It does not automatically erase your records: the letters generated, the items disputed, and the bureau responses are retained under our Privacy Policy. Deletion is a separate, explicit request.
How to request deletion
Email support@creditrefresh.ai from the address on your account, cancel if you haven't already, and say clearly that you want your data deleted. Requests are reviewed and processed by a human, not the AI agent.
What deletion covers
A deletion request removes the personal data the platform holds on you, including your stored report data and account details. One boundary worth knowing: some records may be retained where required for compliance and record-keeping under federal law and standard business practice. That is the same caveat that applies at cancellation.
Two things to consider first
- Your dispute history has value. If you might come back, records of what was disputed, when, and what each bureau answered are what make second rounds and escalations possible. Deleting them means starting from zero.
- Deletion doesn't touch your credit reports. What is on file at Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion lives with the bureaus. Deleting your CreditRefresh data removes our copy, not theirs.

Yes. CreditRefresh treats credit and personal data as sensitive by default. Bureau pulls are soft inquiries that don't affect your score. Credentials are encrypted, used only for dispute work. Your data isn't sold to advertisers or third parties — it stays in our systems for finding errors, drafting letters, and tracking outcomes.
