What Refresh Monitoring is

Refresh Monitoring is the $49 per month credit monitoring subscription that includes full access to CreditRefresh. CreditRefresh itself is free. When you subscribe to Refresh Monitoring, you get both the monitoring service and the CreditRefresh dispute tools together.

Refresh Monitoring keeps an eye on your credit and gives you a dashboard with your reports and your score history over time. That dashboard is where your credit data lives.

How Refresh Monitoring and CreditRefresh work together

Refresh Monitoring is the source of your credit reports and scores, and CreditRefresh is the tool that accesses those reports to do the work. Your reports and score history come from your Refresh Monitoring dashboard.

CreditRefresh reads the reports from that dashboard, scans every line for errors and FCRA issues, and drafts dispute letters for the items you choose to challenge. In short:

  • Refresh Monitoring supplies your reports and scores.
  • CreditRefresh accesses those reports, flags likely errors, and drafts the disputes.
  • You review and approve every letter before anything is mailed.

Does pulling my report hurt my score

No. Pulling your report through Refresh Monitoring is a soft pull, which does not affect your credit score. A soft pull happens when you or a service you authorized checks your own report, and it is not visible to lenders as an inquiry.

This is different from a hard pull, which happens when you apply for new credit and can lower your score slightly. Checking your own reports through Refresh Monitoring as often as you want does no harm.

Billing and cancellation

Refresh Monitoring is billed at $49 per month, and it is what you pay for. CreditRefresh is included at no extra cost.

What is CreditRefresh and how does it work?

CreditRefresh is an app that uses AI to find errors and FCRA violations on your credit reports, then drafts custom dispute letters to Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. It pulls your reports automatically, flags inaccurate balances, outdated items, and reporting that violates federal law, and tracks each bureau's 30-day response. You approve every letter before it's sent.

How do I connect my credit report to CreditRefresh?

You connect once, from your dashboard. CreditRefresh verifies your identity (name, address, date of birth, Social Security number, plus the bureaus' identity questions) and pulls your reports from Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion through a regulated credit-data provider. The pulls are soft inquiries, so connecting never affects your credit score.

What's the difference between a soft pull and a hard pull?

A soft pull is a credit check that doesn't affect your score and isn't visible to other lenders — covering things like checking your own credit, pre-approval offers, and the pulls CreditRefresh runs on your reports. A hard pull is a credit check tied to a credit application that does affect your score, usually by a small amount, and stays visible to lenders for two years.

How much does CreditRefresh cost?

CreditRefresh requires a RefreshMonitoring subscription, which costs $49 a month. That one subscription bundles three-bureau credit monitoring with unlimited AI-generated dispute letters, so there is a single flat price rather than a base fee plus per-letter charges. It sits below the $79 to $149 a month traditional credit repair charges, with no setup fee, no contract, and cancel anytime.
